Knitted Earring Holder

I’ve been ready to blog about this bad boy for AGES now!

Miss Lauren, who blogs over at My Life, The Universe and My Shoes, turned the big 2-5 last weekend and I made her a little pressie! She had mentioned on her last visit to the nest that she would love something handmade for her place, and I just couldn’t resist.

AN EARRING HOLDER!

Who doesn’t need one of these bad boys eh?

I used a basic plaited rib stitch to create a piece of knitting big enough to stretch inside a frame, which I had painted.

Plaited Rib is pretty easy…

Cast on a mulitple of 5 (I did 65)

Row 1 – *K3, sl 1 purlwise, K1, yon to m1, psso the K1 and m1; rep from * to the end of the row.

Row 2 – Purl

Repeat until it’s the size you need and then cast off.

Pop over to visit Miss Lauren and see more piccies of her pressie!
